IQCent Review 2026
This broker has a low rating. See our list of the best binary options brokers to find a better one.
- Min Deposit: $250
- Max Payout: 98%
- Demo Account: Yes
- Expiry Times: 5 seconds - 1 month
offers over 150 products and TradingView-powered charts, making it seem attractive. However, our research found significant concerns. Several regulators have issued warnings about , and we found nearly 200 complaints from users, many citing withdrawal issues.
IQCent offers binary trading on 150+ contracts spanning forex, cryptos, commodities, stocks, and indices. Account holders get a digital sign-up, weekend trading, and payouts up to 95% (plus 3% boost). However, the downsides are overwhelming. New traders would have to meet a steep $250 minimum deposit, forego robust legal protections, and hold their funds with a broker that various regulators have explicitly warned against.
Following warnings from multiple top-tier regulators and a high volume of withdrawal complaints and scam accusations from previous users, we consider IQCent very high risk. Stick to trusted, top-rated binary options brokers.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- IQCent offers turbo, intra-day and long-term binaries lasting from 5 seconds to 1 month, providing opportunities for ultra-short-term and longer-term traders.
- There’s a growing range of 150+ binary contracts covering major markets, plus the addition of ‘Hype Pool’ contracts for speculating on topical setups like Trump vs Musk with potential payouts of 2500%, though we suspect they may be open to broker manipulation.
- The web-based platform has a sleek design, boasting a TradingView charting package, plus an added ‘AI Trade’ feature for set-and-forget trading.
Cons
- IQCent is not authorized by a trusted government regulator, leaving clients with little to no regulatory safeguards in the event of broker insolvency or withdrawal disputes.
- A string of regulators, notably the FCA (UK), CMVM (Portugal), CMNV (Spain), CSA/ASC (Canada), AFM (Netherlands) and CONSOB (Italy) have warned IQCent is not authorized.
- Over 60% of IQCent’s reviews on Trustpilot were 1-star at our latest check, a whopping proportion with multiple withdrawal complaints and scam concerns from real users.
- The $250 minimum deposit is at the top end for binary brokers, potentially putting it out of reach of newer traders, especially compared to CloseOption with its $5 starting investment.
- IQCent does not offer MetaTrader 4 (MT4), marking it out from alternatives like World Forex, which offer binary trading on MT4 through an add-on, providing a vast library of technical analysis tools.
Company Details
IQCent was founded in 2017 and is operated by Wave Makers Ltd (headquartered in the Marshall Islands). This company is also behind other binary firms, including Raceoption (which we don’t recommend using).
IQCent claims to be registered with the International Financial Market Relations Regulation Center (IFMRRC), under TSRF RU 0395 6747 01 202. However, the IFMRRC is not a recognized government regulator on IOSCO’s membership list. It’s a private organization, so don’t expect safeguards like compensation in the event the broker becomes insolvent.
Also, after a support agent for the company provided me their registration number – I ran it through the IFMRRC’s database which came back that it had expired. So it appears they aren’t registered with the IFMRRC after all.
Additionally, prominent regulators have warned that IQCent may be providing unauthorized trading services in its regions, including the FCA in the UK, the CMVM in Portugal, the CMNV in Spain, the CONSOB in Italy, the AMF in the Netherlands, and the CSA in Canada. The number of warnings from prominent regulators should ring alarm bells.
Even more concerningly, we analyzed user reviews of IQCent on other third-party sites, notably Trustpilot, and found dozens of complaints about IQCent not paying withdrawals, with many customers outright calling it a scam. As a result, we recommend extreme caution if you’re considering making a deposit.
IQCent uses 256-bit SSL transaction encryption and 3D secure when processing payments.
Accounts
Like many binary brokers, IQCent uses a tiered account system where higher deposits unlock greater payouts and other perks:
- Bronze: $250 minimum deposit, standard customer support, 8-hour withdrawals, +0% payout boost, 20 free rollovers and 0.1% TradeBack.
- Silver: $1,000 minimum deposit, priority customer support, 4-hour withdrawals, +1% payout boost, 50 free rollovers and 0.5% TradeBack.
- Gold: $5,000 minimum deposit, priority customer support, 1-hour withdrawals, +2% payout boost, 300 free rollovers and 1% TradeBack.
- VIP: $50,000 minimum deposit, priority customer support, 0-hour withdrawals, +3% payout boost, 500 free rollovers and 2% TradeBack.
The downside is that a huge deposit of $50,000 is needed for the best payouts, putting it out of reach of many retail traders.
A binary demo account is also available for beginners. We signed up for this during testing – it took less than two minutes and provided access to its suite of binaries and trading tools.
However, it’s worth noting we observed fewer assets in the demo mode – closer to 80 with no stocks. Also, payouts tended to be on average 3% higher than what we saw in our real account.
Markets
Users can access over 150 binary options contracts covering forex (e.g. EUR/USD, GBP/JPY, USD/CAD), cryptos (e.g. Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum), commodities (e.g. Gold, Copper, Brent Crude Oil), stocks (e.g. Deutsche Bank, Lufthansa, BMW), and indices (e.g. S&P500, FTSE100).
Although the selection isn’t as wide as Pocket Option with its more than 180 assets, the breadth of markets may appeal to some budding traders. It’s also more than most binary providers we’ve tested.
The broker primarily offers standard high/low options, meaning traders have to predict whether the price of an asset will rise or fall. The bar in the side of the trading platform displays the potential payout for each asset.
The broker also added 7 ‘Hype Pool’ contracts, where outcomes are driven by short-term market dynamics and real-time speculation with other traders in the pool. These are fairly unique and during testing, we were offered contracts such as Trump Vs Musk and Trump/USDT. However, there’s little transparency about how prices are derived, and we’re concerned they could be manipulated as they’re ultimately broker-built and controlled assets.
Payouts
We measured live payouts on IQCent across four assets (EUR/USD, BTC, SPX, XAU/USD) and two sessions (peak vs off-peak), benchmarking results against the site’s stated rates.
Headline: peak payouts were typically 3–5% below advertised, while off-peak came in ~8–15% lower; performance held up during active market sessions but tailed off overnight/weekends.
| Asset | Expiry | Advertised Payout | Observed Payout (Peak) | Observed Payout (Off-peak) | Deviation vs Advertised (Peak) | Deviation vs Advertised (Off-peak) | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| EUR/USD | 5 minutes | 95% | 90–92% | 78–84% | −3 to −5% | −11 to −15% | High advertised rates; typically short by 3–5% in peak sessions. Noticeable drop overnight and other off-peak sessions. |
| BTC | 30 minutes | 90% | 86–88% | 76–82% | −2 to −4% | −8 to −14% | Crypto contracts fairly stable vs advertised. Lower when volatility is muted or during weekends/off-peak sessions. |
| SPX | 10 minutes | 85% | 82–84% | 72–78% | −1 to −3% | −7 to −13% | Slightly under the claimed rate but predictable in peak sessions. Drops in line with reduced OTC liquidity. |
| XAU/USD | 10 minutes | 88% | 84–86% | 74–80% | −2 to −4% | −8 to −14% | Consistent for metals; steady through the London/US overlap. Typical reduction in Asian/off-peak sessions. |
For the broker’s ‘Hype Pool’ contracts, though, payouts are much higher, fetching a whopping 2500%. For us this falls into the ‘too good to be true category’.

Hype Pool can be found under ‘Pool Trading’ in the asset drop down
Expiry Times
IQCent offers three types of binaries with varying lengths:
- Turbo options: Expiry time between 5 seconds and 30 minutes, with 1-minute increments.
- Intraday options: Expiry time up to 24 hours with 1-hour increments.
- Long-term options: Expiry time between 24 hours and 30 days with 1-day increments.

You can chose the timeframe under ‘Option type’
Platform
IQCent offers a proprietary, web-based trading platform. The platform is user-friendly with straightforward navigation and features.
Charts are customizable, with 12 timeframes available, from 5 seconds to 1 day. You can view price data via candlestick or tick charts with 8 pre-included indicators such as MACD and bollinger bands and 8 drawing tools.
Tip: Switch to TradingView charts in the IQCent platform to access more than 100 technical indicators and drawing tools.

IQCent has interactive charts with drawings and technical indicators
Users get third-party market analysis – helpful for finding potential opportunities and weekly trading contests – good for testing your skills against other traders with prizes up for grabs, but don’t let it encourage overtrading or reckless strategies when you return to real-money trading.
We were also intrigued to find a new feature added to the platform during our latest tests, ‘AI Trade’, which analyzes real-time market data, identifies patterns and opens trades automatically. What worried us though, was the lack of transparency about the logic it uses to find and make trades. As a result, we would not trust it with our own money, and recommend users are cautious too.

AI Trade allows for one-click automated trading
Additionally, the IQCent platform supports copy trading. The tool is designed for beginners or those looking to invest without spending hours studying the markets. But there’s no guarantee you’ll make money copy trading binary options.
You can view the performance of the top 10 traders before committing funds. Users can view the profit percentage and location of ‘pro’ traders, among other metrics, but there aren’t enough details about the signal providers for us to feel confident entrusting our funds to them.
Once you have funded your account and have a positive net balance, you can select ’copy trading’ in the left-hand side of the platform. Then choose which trader you want to copy and how much you would like to stake. Still, we’d recommend caution against blindly copying without a money management strategy. In fact, we’d stick to top binary options copy trading platforms.

Payment Methods
The minimum deposit to start trading with IQCent is typically $250, though it depends on the region of the client. Users can fund their accounts with debit and credit cards (Visa/Mastercard), wire transfers, or cryptos like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Account funding is near-instant for credit/debit card payments, however blockchain confirmation times can cause delays with crypto deposits. The broker does not charge any payment fees, though third-party costs may apply.
Withdrawal rules state that payments must be made back to the original deposit method. The typical withdrawal time is one hour, however, the time taken for funds to clear back to the user’s account may vary.
IQCent has a minimum withdrawal requirement of $100 in the Bronze account, and $50 in all other accounts.
One term to be wary of: The fee of 3% that applies for credit and debit card withdrawals.
And importantly, keep in mind the large number of complaints from clients that IQCent has frozen or refused to pay out withdrawals. And with its offshore registration, it may be difficult to seek legal recourse against IQCent should this happen..
Bonuses
IQCent offers promotions to attract new traders and to encourage existing clients to keep using its platform. Historically it has provided deposit bonuses, more recently it has focused on ‘Giveaway Prizes’.
Crucially, we never think you should choose a binary broker for its bonuses – they often come with stringent requirements that make it hard to withdraw or to get your hands on prizes, as is this case at IQCent.
This is why some regulators, such as the CySEC, have even said firms should avoid offering bonuses that incentivise individuals to deal in speculative products like binaries. CySEC went further in the end and banned the sale of binaries to retail clients in 2019, following ESMA’s EU-wide intervention.
Below are examples of promotions we’ve seen in the IQCent client area, plus a breakdown of the concerning stipulations we’ve noticed after taking a microscope to their their terms. Note, promotions are subject to change.
| Bonus | What It Offers | Key Restrictions | Our Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Giveaways | Monthly prizes like iPhones, AirPods, iPads, iMacs, Apple Watches | Substantial deposits required, such as $5,000+ to be part of the prize draw for iMacs. | Looks enticing, but a random prize draw and you don’t know how many people are involved. Serious investments still required for top prizes. |
| 100% deposit bonus | Doubles trading capital. | Wagering requirements, such as 5x the trading volume before withdrawals can be requested. | Treat as practice capital. High risk of overtrading and large market swings. No guarantee you’ll be able to withdraw. |
Customer Support
IQCent only offers help through a live chat (available 24/7 through the platform).
We ran tests across chat and email channels to see how quickly and effectively they handled platform/tool queries and questions about withdrawal bonuses.
Headline: Friendly agent; gave correct auto-settlement guidance, but email support was slow and unclear on bonus withdrawal terms.
| Channel | Question Category | First Response Time (min) | Time to Resolution (min) | Resolved? | Accuracy/Helpfulness (0–10) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Chat and email |
Platform/tools and withdrawal bonus | 3 mins chat; 90 mins email | 5 mins chat; 300 mins email | Y (chat); N (email) | 7 |
There is also an FAQ section on the website, though it is very basic covering simple requests such as how to trade on the platform, how to verify an IQCent account/check your verification status, and funding methods.
Also, while response times were fast during testing, this is because we suspect they use an AI chatbot. The ‘agent’ denied this, but the instant speed of their responses and difficulty answering our questions when we probed on their ‘AI Trading’ feature specifically raised our suspicions.
This is a consideration if you want to be able to contact a human for complex platform queries or account problems.
Should You Trade Binary Options With IQCent?
IQCent offers a binary platform with around 150 assets, ultra short-term expiries as low as 5 seconds, and payouts up to 95% (with up to a 3% boost)
On the downside, IQCent’s minimum deposit of $250 is amongst the highest we’ve seen. The lack of regulatory oversight is also a concern for those looking for robust client protection.
And while it’s good to see the brand introducing products like its ‘Hype Pool’ contacts and ‘AI Trade’, the lack of transparency around how these are structured requires thought before using them.
Our verdict: No – you should not open an account with IQCent. This is primarily because it’s been the subject of regulatory heat and we’ve manually read over 190 negative reviews from users all over the world citing various problems with the broker, including that it doesn’t pay out withdrawals.
